1
What Does A Celebrant Do?
As your celebrant, I guide you through the ceremony process from start to finish. I take care of the legal requirements, work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects your story and values, and deliver it on the day with warmth and confidence. My role is to make sure the ceremony feels personal, meaningful, and completely you.
2
Do We Have To Write Our Own Vows?
Not at all. Some couples love writing their own vows, others prefer guidance, shared vows, or to skip personal vows altogether. There’s no right or wrong — I’ll talk you through the options and support whatever feels most comfortable and meaningful for you.
3
When Should We Book Our Celebrant?
Many couples book their celebrant 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak seasons and popular dates. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it’s still worth reaching out — availability can vary, and I’m always happy to let you know what’s possible.
4
What Happens If Plans Change, Or It Rains?
Weddings rarely go exactly to plan, and that’s okay. I’m experienced with last-minute changes, weather shifts, and timeline adjustments. I’ll work calmly with you and your vendors on the day to ensure the ceremony still flows beautifully, no matter what.
5
Can Friends Or Family Be Involved In The Ceremony?
Absolutely. Many couples choose to involve loved ones through readings, rituals, or small roles during the ceremony. I’m happy to help you find a way to include them that feels natural and meaningful, without interrupting the flow of the ceremony.
6
Can Our Pets Be Involved In The Ceremony?
Absolutely — yes, 100%. Pets are family, and I love when couples include them in their ceremony. Whether they’re walking down the aisle, standing by your side, or simply part of the moment, I’m always happy to help you find a way to include them that feels natural and meaningful. I even had my own fur baby involved in my wedding (see pics to the left), so I completely understand how special it is to have them there. Please note that pet involvement is always subject to your venue’s policies and requirements.
7
Can We See Examples of Past Ceremonies?
Because each ceremony is deeply personal, I respect the privacy and confidentiality of the couples I work with and don’t share full ceremony scripts publicly. However, I’m always happy to share short excerpts, sample wording, or talk you through examples during our conversations so you can get a feel for my writing style and approach.
